CSR

In recent years, more and more brands have included socially responsible purchasing and other related clauses in their orders, requiring producers to participate in social responsibility-related audits or self-assessments before orders are placed. The purpose of such inclusion is to ensure that products provided by producers and suppliers meet requirements for social responsibility in four main aspects: human rights, labor rights and interests, health and safety, and environmental protection.

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) related audit means that an enterprise shall take responsibility to consumers, community, environment while creating profits as well as to shareholders and employees. CSR requires that an enterprise must go beyond the traditional concept of regarding profits as its sole objective. CSR also emphasizes that an enterprise shall focus on human value in the production process and highlights its contribution to environment, consumers, and society.
