What is ISO 22716:2007 Good Manufacturing Practice for Cosmetics?
On 21 April 2011, the Official Journal of the European Union (EU) published EN ISO 22716: 2007 Cosmetics - Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) - Guidance on Good Manufacturing Practice (ISO 22716:2007), announcing that the guidance officially became the GMP regulating standard for EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No.1223/2009. In other words, compliance with EN ISO 22716: 2007 means compliance with GMP requirements of the EU Cosmetics Regulation.
